Gorgeous Garlic Bread
Garlic bread is a favourite in almost every household and, as is almost always the case, it is sooooo much better when you make your own! Not only is it more delicious, it is also incredibly easy to make yet will no doubt impress your friends and family.
Perfect as a starter for people to dive into when they arrive or great as a side to pasta dishes any day of the week. If you want something simple and delicious this recipe is for you!
Gorgeous Garlic Bread
1 ciabatta bread or 1 small french baguette
125g unsalted butter
6 garlic cloves, minced
sea salt
Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
Slice your bread of choice in half horizontally.
Bash the garlic together with a good pinch of salt until a paste is form - either in a pestle and mortar or on a board with the back of your knife.
Add the garlic paste to the butter and mix together thoroughly.
Spread the garlic butter on the bread halves and place on a baking tray.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
TIP: Make the garlic butter in advance and leave in the fridge for up to a week until needed. The garlic butter can also be used as a sauce for fresh pasta or to cook prawns in.
