Halloween Special: Eyeball Cake Pops
Makes 20

500g cake (either make your own or use store bought Madeira)
200g bar milk chocolate
400g bar white chocolate
1 tbsp oil
20 Smarties and icing pens, to decorate
You will also need:
20 wooden skewers
Something to stick the pops in (I used half oranges)

Break the cake into the bowl of a food processor. Heat the milk chocolate in the microwave in 40 second blasts until melted, add to the food processor and whizz to combine. Tip the mixture into a bowl, then use your hands to roll into about 20 walnut-sized balls. Chill for 2 hrs until really firm.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 20 second blasts then mix with the oil. Push a skewer into each ball, then carefully spoon the white chocolate over the cake balls to completely cover. Stand the cake pops in the oranges (or whatever you're using to steady them), then press a Smartie onto the surface while wet. Chill again until the chocolate has set. Before serving, using the icing pens, add a pupil to each Smartie and wiggly red veins to the eyeballs.
