Piña Colada Health Smoothie (non-alcoholic!)

I have to admit I love a good health smoothie and I'm always thinking of new recipes and ways to make them exciting. This recipe is a riff on a piña colada and what it may lack in alcohol it makes up for it in DELICIOUSNESS as well as nutrients and goodness for the body.

Like a glass full of sunshine, this smoothie is the perfect breakfast as it's not only full of vitamin C, antioxidants and enzymes but it's also incredibly tasty, simple, quick to make and it can be consumed on the go - ideal for anyone with a busy life but a desire to be healthy!

Piña Colada Health Smoothie (non-alcoholic!)
Makes 2

1/2 large pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
200ml full fat coconut milk
1/2 large avocado, peeled
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
150ml water (or coconut water)

Blend everything together until smooth and serve. Alternatively, this can be made in advance and kept in a glass or a flask in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
